Colorado Gives Day

Every year, Coloradans come together for Colorado Gives Day — a statewide celebration of generosity that lifts up nonprofits like Forgotten Felines Rescue Denver. The fundraiser, which runs from Nov. 1-Dec. 9, 2025 is our largest financial driver annually. 85% of our annual income comes from donations and those funds go directly to supporting cats and kittens through things like veterinary care, vaccines, spay/neuter services, health and welfare care, emergency care and dental care.

By donating, you can help us reach our goal of raising $20,000.

Each week, we will be randomly selecting a Forgotten Felines donor to win some fun, exciting and beautiful gifts that were donated, designed, created or crafted by our talented supporters. Want to throw your name in the hat for more than one prize? Go for it! Just pick two (or more) weeks to donate! We will draw and announce the winners each Tuesday!

Thanksgiving Match

An anonymous donor has agreed to match up to $500 for all donations made during the week of Thanksgiving.

This donor is thankful for the tremendous work that FFR does for the cat community and for their beloved furry friends who were all adopted through FFR over the years. They appreciate FFR’s impactful TNR work, the educating on the importance of spay/neuter, the socializing efforts and medical care provided to cats in need, and the foster program that keeps these deserving kitties safe and happy until they find their forever homes!

More cool stuff

FirstBank will be donating $100,000 through various gifts for small, medium and large nonprofit organizations that raise the most funds during the Colorado Gives Day campaign (Nov. 1-Dec. 9). So each one of your donations brings us closer to earning part of this incentive.

All new monthly gifts set up Nov. 1–Dec. 9 will be matched by Colorado Gives Foundation up to $100. So, if you set up a recurring donation, your money goes further.

Play trivia and you could win an additional $1000 for Forgotten Felines. Trivia will be live on FirstBank’s Blog from Dec. 1-5 twice a day.

On Dec. 9 only, donors who give $100+ to any nonprofit participating in Colorado Gives Day will be automatically entered in an hourly drawing to win Southwest Airlines tickets.
