In the process of our TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) efforts to control the cat overpopulation problem, we often find kittens who are young enough to be socialized or abandoned tame adults who can be rehabilitated and find homes again. When tame cats and kittens are first rescued, they are placed in foster homes. Here they are nurtured and receive the care they need as they prepare to enter the adoption process.
