Adoptable Cats and Kittens

We are so excited that you want to adopt a new cat or kitten. Our adoptable cats stay in temporary loving foster homes until they can be adopted into permanent, loving homes.

We may also have cats and kittens in foster homes who are not yet posted. Please keep checking back or let us know what type of cat or kitten you are interested in adopting by submitting an adoption application or emailing Adopt@ForgottenFelinesDenver.org.

A cute rescue kitty! Dakota is a sweet adoptable tuxedo kitten. He's laying on a fluffy blanket and looks like he's ready to play!
Who’s ready to play!?

Dakota

Dakota is an amazing little feline! He is new to Colorado as he just recently hitched a ride in the engine of a pickup truck of friends who were returning from a trip to South Dakota! When the vehicle was safely in the garage, he started making his presence known with cries for help, and a Forgotten Felines volunteer was dispatched to coax the kitten out of the engine.

His ordeal didn’t phase his personality and he quickly bounced back from what must have been a terrifying experience for a small kitten. He is outgoing, affectionate, playful and extremely sweet.

What goes better together than some Chocolate and Marshmellow?

Marshmellow and Chocolate

Marshmellow and Chocolate were rescued off the streets of Denver by Forgotten Felines. Marshmellow is the white and black tabby kitten – and she is the life of the party – she is confident, smart, cuddly (likes to sit in laps and purrrrrrr), and loves loves loves to be petted. Chocolate is mainly black with some brown on his belly – and he is allllll boy! I run like crazy, play with everything, and then after I get my energy out I settle in and love to be rubbed too. I am a purring machine. We get along perfectly, sleep in our condo together, groom each other and we do everything together.

They are both spayed/neutered, we both have microchips, have ALL our shots, and are super healthy. They love dogs, people and other cats, so they would fit into almost any home. They come right up to all strangers and new people! These two bonded kitties would make such great companions for homes with kids, homes with other animals or a home that simply needs 2 amazing little kittens!

Um. I think my bowl might be empty. Can you remedy that?

Blaze

Dahlia

Meet Dahlia, a sweet, shy domestic short-haired Tortie. Dahlia has come so far since she was rescued from a difficult life on the streets. She is a gorgeous girl that will need kindness and understanding in a quiet space as she adjusts to her forever home. She loves to play tag and chase the laser with her siblings and will come running for treats. When she is not playing with the other kitties, she prefers to watch and hang out from afar.

Such handsome fellas

Aster and Dandelion

Meet Aster and Dandelion! They are approximately four years old. They were rescued with their siblings and brought into a wonderful foster home. As a young kitten Aster became ill and fought like crazy to survive. After lots of love and much needed care, Aster is now healthy and thriving. They both love playing with toys, especially the laser toy and they love treats.

They are very shy rescue cats, and will need a safe space, with slow introductions to start out in their new home. We are looking for a family with love and patience to encourage these gentle cats to continue to thrive.
