Submitting an adoption application is the first step to bringing a new fur baby into your home.
Once you have submitted the form, a volunteer will review your application to see if the cat(s) or kitten(s) you are interested in would be a good fit for your home and family. Someone may reach out to your references, your veterinarian or your landlord. We may also contact you to talk more or set up a meet and greet.
There is no fee to apply and no obligation to adopt. It’s just a way for us to get to know you better.
This application will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Be sure to have your veterinarian’s name, phone number and address, as well as names and phone numbers for three references (two of whom are not related to you). The information required on this application will help us match the cat/kitten that is best for you and your family.
Requirements to adopt a cat/kitten are:
- You must be at least 21 years of age.
- Have identification showing your present address.
- Have knowledge and consent of your landlord and provide proof of same.
- Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide proper care for a cat, including veterinary care when needed.
- Reside in Colorado.
