Artemis and Thalia

Thalia is really Artemis’s mini-me!

Baby Thalia was sadly the only one of Artemis’s kittens who survived, but she is a trooper!

We rescued Artemis from a home with another 30 cats in it. She was approximately three years old, but when we found her, she still looked like a kitten.

Artemis gave birth to five beautiful babies right after coming to her foster home. She is the absolute sweetest and smartest cat! She wanted her foster mama’s hand on her belly the WHOLE TIME she was in labor. She delivered her five babies (4 were breach and required her foster mama’s help). Unfortunately, even though Artemis took amazing care of her babies, four passed away. Thalia remained her sole surviving kitten, a beautiful, spunky, strong, healthy baby girl.

Thalia takes after her mama, a beautiful chocolate brown with matching cute white spots on her neck and tummy. If you don’t already know, brown cats are very rare and these two are just stunning!

These two are so happy together and were adopted as a pair in May 2025 once Thalia was old enough to be spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.
