Lola can still show Leo (formerly Tony) who’s the boss.
Gemy (now Violet) has learned that puppies are good snuggle pals.
Chino (now Simon) hangs with his new doggy brother.
Chet (now Picolo Gato) like to play with his new big sister!

This litter of five was found in the fall of 2023 along with more than 60 other cats (a total of 17 kittens) off of Colfax Ave. The adult cats not tame enough to become pets were seen by veterinarians, vaccinated and spayed or neutered, and released back into their colony (TNR).

The 17 kittens, including the five Pasta Paisanos, Gemelli (Gemy), Rigatoni (Tony), Ravioli (Lola), Orichette (Chet) and Fettuchini (Chino), stayed with mama until they were old enough to be weaned, and off they went to various foster homes to be socialized, vaccinated, spayed and neutered, microchipped and eventually adopted.

Eventually, Lola and Tony (now Leo) were adopted as a pair. Gemy (now Violet) found a home with a canine buddy. Chino (now Simon) also learned how fun pups can be when he went to his new home. And Chet (now Picolo Gato) found a forever home with a big sister kitty!

All five of them are thriving in their new homes, and have learned to love their new brothers and sisters!
