We found Felix after a good Samaritan contacted us when she found him injured after being struck by a car, with severe damage to his face and jaw. He was very lucky and survived, but he had to spend a lot of time in the veterinary hospital with his jaw repaired and wired shut. Even when he was obviously in great pain, his loving personality shone through, even purring as the vets examined him.
After work on his jaw and teeth, he had to be fed through a feeding tube in his neck, and required a lot of additional medical care which his foster family helped with.
Today, Felix has recovered quite nicely, though he still has some effects from the car impact. He loves to be scratched on his head and has a loud, deep purr. He is a very sweet snuggle bunny and very playful and is doing so well with the family who adopted him!
